About Me
Since I was a little girl, I’ve always been drawn to art—reading, writing, painting, music, fashion. Photography was the craft that intrigued me the most. I loved capturing moments and turning them into edgy, Pinterest-esque edits that whispered the stories of my adventures.
During my undergraduate years, I found myself surrounded by a surplus of creative individuals, including photographers, who saw the world through a similar lens as I. Watching them effortlessly capture such striking, intentional images made me realize photography could be more than something I casually loved. It could be something I pursued.
After a bit of convincing, I was finally gifted my first professional camera—and everything shifted. What once lived on my iPhone became something sharper, more intentional, more real.
I've spent my years since that moment taking my camera everywhere, capturing anything and everything. I taught myself how to understand light, find the right angles, work with different lenses, and shape each and every image through editing.
Over time, it became less about taking pictures and more about creating them. This love for photography has turned into something that brings me genuine joy and sense of pride—being able to turn fleeting moments into little pieces of forever.
This portfolio is a small piece of that journey.
Continuing the vision with love,
Amairani.
